Jayhawker Towers
Housing
Participants will live in a single occupancy room in a two-bedroom apartment with another program participant in the Jayhawker Towerson the University of Kansas campus. You will be provided with sheets, a blanket, a pillow and a towel for use during your program.
Apartments are comprised of:
- A living room,
- A kitchen with a stove and refrigerator,
- A bathroom,
- Two bedrooms with an extra-long twin bed, desk, chair, and dresser for each resident

“The Towers” offers students continuous occupancy and increased space, privacy, and independence while retaining the advantages of on-campus living such as location, staff, security, programs, and activities. An active tenants’ association sponsors social events and provides input on community improvements. Jayhawker Towers is a popular location.
Meals
- Your program fees will provide you with $450 on your KUID card that can be used to eat in restaurants and coffee shops on campus throughout your time at KU.
- The remainder of your meals will be your responsibility. We will show you places in Lawrence where you can purchase Asian ingredients for your own cooking as well as Chinese restaurants nears the Jayhawker Towers you might enjoy.
