Program Details
ISP designed and facilitated several custom team building exercises for participants in which they developed their communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
In addition, a local high school teacher was contracted to teach a daily course focusing on English skills and socio-emotional learning.
ISP arranged for participants and their chaperones to stay in an on-campus dormitory hall. This gave the participants the experience of a U.S. university student and the chaperones peace of mind regarding everyone's safety. Each participant and chaperone had access to a KU dining plan and often ate at Mrs. E's, an "all-you-care-to-eat" cafeteria nearby.
Ohmi Brotherhood High School Program participants had access to the following:
- 24/7 emergency support
- ISP staff & student leaders
- Student Health Services
ISP provided, arranged, or facilitated access to transportation to all required program events through chartered buses or local public transportation.
