Airport Transport
The closest major airport to KU is Kansas City International Airport (MCI), which is about an hour from Lawrence. Recognizing the distance and that international travel can be stressful in general, International Short Programs provides airport transportation for all of our program participants, regardless of time of day or cohort size.
Free Local Public Transport
The city of Lawrence and the KU campus have a network of buses that are free to ride around the city. ISP provides an orientation to the bus system to program participants as part of program orientations.
Chartered Transportation
ISP provides transportation to and from all scheduled program activities. Transport type will depend on group size, the location of the activity, budget, and the amount of time dedicated to the activity.
