Natalie Friend

Natalie Friend is happy to be serving as Education Program Manager for KU's International Short Programs department. She is deeply passionate about international educational exchange and has experience working abroad, in the non-profit space, and at universities. Prior to her work with ISP, Natalie worked with KU's International Support Services office as a program coordinator. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Arkansas in Political Science, French, and International Studies with a specialization in the Maghreb and Mediterranean regions. She speaks advanced French and basic Spanish and is currently pursuing a Master's in Public Administration with KU's School of Public Affairs and Administration. Natalie grew up in and around the greater Kansas City area and is a proud volunteer poll worker during each election. She enjoys spending time with friends and family in Kansas City and Lawrence and is looking forward to her next trip to visit friends abroad.
