Naismith Hall

Participants will stay in the newly remodeled off-campus residence, Naismith Hall. Naismith is just off campus, within walking distance of the recreation center, health center, and other campus facilities. In addition, the campus bus has a regular route right in front of Naismith Hall. Participants will be provided double occupancy housing, with a roommate from the PDPI program of the same gender. In addition, four PDPI participants will share an adjoining restroom between their rooms. A full meal-plan (3 meals a day M-F, and 2 meals on weekends) is provided at the Naismith Hall Dining Room. KU’s regular spring semester will be in session during the full course of the PDPI program, so participants will be able to enjoy the full benefit of campus facilities and offerings on campus and at Naismith Hall.

Highlights

  • You will live in a 4-person suite, two 2-person rooms connected by a bathroom
  • Each person will have a lofted bed, desk, desk chair, dresser and closet.
  • Naismith Hall Cafe which features food-court style service, all-you-care-to-eat at each meal and a large dining area
